The Grade 12 IB Music program prepares students for the IB Music Exam which will take place in the Spring of 2010. Students in this program take part in regular sessions of Music History/Listening and may take part in Solo Performance and/or Composition.
- The Grade 11 IB Music program prepares students for the IB Music Exam which will take place in the Spring of 2011. Students in this program take part in regular sessions of Music History/Listening and Performance.
- Students in Grade 12 non-IB music take part in sessions of Band, Choir and Music Appreciation. Rehearsals throughout the week prepare students for two concerts per year (December and April).
- This year, students in Grade 11 non-IB music meet once-a-week for either Band or Choir. As class time is limited, it is essential that students find time to practice on their own and come to class prepared with all necessary materials.
Students take part in both a Winter and Spring concert. - Students in Grade 10 Music meet three times a week: On Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays during periods 7/8. Lessons are divided evenly between Band, Choir and Music Appreciation. As performance is an essential component of this course, students prepare for both a both a Winter and Spring Concert and are strongly encouraged to find additional performance opportunities.
- Students in Grade 9 Music meet three times a week: On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Lessons are divided evenly between Band, Choir and Music Appreciation. - Students in Grade 8 Music meet twice a week for lessons in Band and Choir. These lessons take place on Wednesday afternoons, periods 9/10 and Thursday mornings, periods 5/6.

In Grade 7 Music we continue to develop Vocal and Instrumental skills that we developed in Gr. 6 Choir and Band. This year, we have two-week Band and Choir rotations with more opportunities for sectionals.- In Grade 6 Choir and Band we continue to develop Vocal and Instrumental skills that we developed in Gr. 5 Music. We have two-week Band and Choir rotations with more opportunities for sectionals. Bringing our Choir folders and band instrument to every class is mandatory.
